Offshore Windfarm Installation Aids

Voe Marine were approached by Seaway 7 an offshore windfarm construction client to deliver off bespoke aluminum deflector sheaves to be used on offshore wind turbines cable pull in operations.

The sheaves aid the pull in of offshore power cable to prevent clash with other equipment and structures within the transition piece.

The scope included:

• Concept & Detailed Design
• Engineering Verification (structural calculations)
• Manufacture of the frame, rollers and axles prior to load test
• Delivery with bespoke rigging.
