Voe Marine was requested by Seaway 7 a Tier 1 offshore cable lay contractor to develop a bespoke lifting adapter for an existing A-Frame to handle the cable quadrant including rapid delivery to Holland for installation onboard the vessel.

The solution allowed the existing A-Frame to be re-purposed for cable lay without major modification or removal from the vessel thereby saving time and cost. The adapter included the sheave equipment to route the winch wire and integration of the load cell equipment.
