Voe Marine was requested by Siemens Gamesa to provide a solution to aid the safe handling of Nitrogen bottles from OSV vessels onto offshore wind turbines.

A successful solution was developed in accordance with DNV E273 and design verification was achieved before manufacturing under DNV survey, ready for offshore trials.

The unit was constrained for use inside a wind turbine nacelle and hence a single lift point was developed to limit rigging height.
