Bibby Marine approached Voe Marine to perform a feasibility study on the upgrade of an accommodation barge.

Our Naval Architects worked through a range of options considering impact on vessel weight, arrangement and budget costs for the works. A concept design model was developed with a weight list and a final report was issued to the client for board review.

Deck Strength Verification

Subsea 7 approached Voe Marine to complete a deck strength verification for a Cable Lay vessel, providing client assurance for a wide range of new equipment going on deck.

We reviewed and defined the deck envelop, developed load combinations from operational profile on trencher LARS, gantry crane, ROV LARS, stability tank & containers. Then prepared a beam model of deck structure and provided a complete verification to meet DNV rules.
