The specialised equipment required to cut a subsea trench and bury the cable requires heavy launch & recovery systems (LARS) often installed on vessels of opportunity (hired in to support the task). Voe Marine completed all engineering for the LARS installation & submitted for classification approval which was duly signed off in a short timescale.
