As Voe Marine Lead Engineer you will lead a wide variety of interesting projects spanning the full breadth of our portfolio.

Voe Lead Engineers are engaged with ownership at all stages from concept development through to in-house delivery supported by an experienced team.

Day to day responsibilities are varied but may include:

  • Engineering design

  • Constructive liaison with clients, colleagues and suppliers

  • Supporting / Mentoring Engineering team

  • Prepare technical documentation and design calculations

  • Overseeing project execution activities

We are also looking for someone to build a team to further expand the VOE Marine client offering. This successful candidate with be responsible for training and mentoring new comers as the VOE Team develops.

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant field (Naval Architecture/Mechanical Engineering)

  • Minimum 7+ years experience related field (Marine/Offshore)

  • A valid driving license

  • Vessel Conversion/upgrade experience necessary

  • Marine equipment design experience beneficial

  • Exposure to offshore/subsea project experience beneficial

  • Proficient in industry software and relevant engineering / analysis / design tools

  • Your must have the right to live and work in the UK for this role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Optimistic and positive attitude

  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed

  • Innovative and creative thinker but still upholds traditional values of our trade

  • Team Player and not afraid to get stuck in

  • Able to work collaboratively

  • Adaptable and reacts well to challenges that present themselves
